The centerpiece of ULAA’s history of service to the university is its scholarship program, awarding more than 800 students more than $1.5 million since 1991.
ULAA encourages and assist Latino students to attend UCLA, and provide them the support they need to succeed both financially and through mentorship via their OrgullOSO Mentor Program.
ULAA fosters the development of future UCLA Latino alumni leaders and hosts networking activities, community service opportunities, career resources, academic lectures and social events.
The UCLA Latino Alumni Association scholarship endowment fund ensures future generations of Latino scholars access to a world-class education with opportunities to become future leaders in all areas of society. ULAA scholarships are awarded to incoming students that have demonstrated high academic merit, outstanding leadership potential and a commitment to serve the communities from which they come. In addition to receiving financial support from ULAA, each scholar is connected to an academic, professional and personal mentor to ensure they are prepared to thrive and excel during and after their time at UCLA.
